Charlotte Guerrera, DDS

Dr. Charlotte Guerrera was born and raised in New York City. She attended Convent of the Sacred Heart on the Upper East Side and studied abroad at the Sacred Heart school in Rome, where she had the opportunity to learn Italian. She then went on to earn her BA in Biology with a minor in Italian, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. After college, she earned her DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, graduating in the top 3% of her class. She was elected for membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, a prestigious honor given to one student per year at each dental school for outstanding achievements in the profession of dentistry. Additionally, she was awarded the Samuel I. Botkin Memorial Award for the most outstanding graduating student in the Orthodontic Honors Program, the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care, and the Alumni Association Prosthetic Award for proficiency in removable prosthodontics.

Dr. Charlotte then completed her post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics also at NYU, where she conducted research on dental fear, how it impacts patients, and how orthodontists can help fearful patients. After residency, she successfully became a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She loves being an orthodontist and is well-versed in the latest techniques and technologies. Outside of the office, Dr. Charlotte enjoys exploring the city, spending time in Central Park, and trying new restaurants in her hometown of NYC. She also enjoys traveling, skiing, cooking and baking, and is a devoted dog mom to her beloved cavapoo, Eloise, who is our office Therapy Dog!
