Invisalign for Teens and Adults

Invisalign is a series of custom-made, clear aligners that gradually move your teeth to create the perfect smile. The removable aligners are smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible. Your friends won’t even notice you are straightening your teeth!

Dr. Charlotte Guerrera works with Invisalign to design the aligners just for you to move your teeth in the exact way she prescribes. You will change the aligners each week and watch your smile transform. Invisalign is truly an amazing option create a gorgeous smile without braces for patients of all ages!

An important advantage of Invisalign over braces is that the aligners are removable, allowing you to take them out while eating. This allows you the freedom to eat what you wish, unlike braces, which require patients to be careful when eating sticky and crunchy foods. This also allows you to brush and floss more easily than with braces.

If you are considering Invisalign, the first step would be a consultation with our orthodontist, Dr. Charlotte Guerrera. She will complete a thorough orthodontic examination – looking at crowding, spacing, bite issues, TMJ, airway, sleep habits, dental history and especially smile esthetics. She will discuss her findings, your personal treatment goals, and explain your orthodontic options. 

If you choose to move forward with Invisalign treatment, the next step is to take Invisalign Records – which involves pictures, radiographs, and a 3D iTero scan, which we will use to create your customized treatment plan with the Invisalign software. At the next appointment, you will receive your first set of Invisalign aligners! At this appointment, we will place attachments as needed on your teeth, which are tooth-colored bumps designed to maximize the retention and efficiency of the aligners. You will see us approximately every 8 weeks to evaluate your progress throughout treatment, and we will move forward with the series of aligners until we have reached our goals of a beautiful smile and an ideal bite.
