Nutritional Approach at Bright Healthy Smiles
Today’s parents face an overwhelming number of choices when it comes to feeding their children. Balancing time, budget, access, knowledge, and energy can make even the best intentions feel out of reach. At Bright Healthy Smiles, we understand these real-life challenges — and we’re here to help.
As a holistic nutritionist, I work closely with families to bridge the gap between knowing what’s healthy and being able to make it happen in daily life. My goal is to educate, inspire, and empower parents to raise children who are not only healthy overall but have strong foundations for lifelong oral and orthodontic health.
Nutrition plays a vital role not only in the strength of your child’s teeth but also in the development of the jaw, facial structure, and bite alignment. These are key factors not only in dental health but also in orthodontic care. A balanced, nutrient-rich diet can support healthy jaw growth, reduce the risk of crowding, and even minimize the need for future orthodontic intervention.
While it’s well known that sugar can lead to cavities, many families are unaware of how broader nutrition and lifestyle habits impact the health of the mouth and the way it develops. I help parents understand which foods build strong bones and teeth — and which ones can work against these goals. From snack strategies to meal planning, I offer realistic, actionable guidance that fits into busy family life.
At Bright Healthy Smiles, Dr. Corielli and the entire team recognize the critical connection between nutrition, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics. That’s why I’m available to all of our families as a complimentary resource — a core part of our integrated care approach.
I look forward to supporting you and your family. I’m available on Tuesdays, either in person at the office or by phone, depending on what works best for you.
